The pulses occur in short bursts of time creating micro-cavitation bubbles that expand and burst. The energy from the burst of the bubble penetrates tissue and stimulates cells that are responsible for tissue healing.

Dr. Kayla Evans began her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree at MacEwan University while playing on the Varsity Soccer Team. She then went on to complete her degree, and graduate from the University of Alberta. Dr. Evans furthered her studies in Portland at the University of Western States where she completed both her Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Tessa graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters in Physical Therapy after completing a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley. As a student in her undergraduate, she was a member of the Women’s Varsity basketball team at UFV where she found a love for fitness, training and learned the importance of having a good health practitioner in your corner.

Tessa uses a patient-centered approach to her treatments, by getting to know her patients and what their goals are. She uses education, manual therapy and exercise to meet their individual needs and help them get back to doing what they love. Dr. Todd has an extensive athlete base with his specialized approach to the biomechanics of sport.

Throughout his career, Dr. Todd has treated athletes of all calibers including Professional, WHL and Collegiate hockey players, Olympic track athletes, Professional Ironman Tri-athletes and everyone in between.

He has attained full body status in Active Release Techniques, and has been a certified A.R.T. provider helping hundreds of athletes of all calibres.

Dr. Todd earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, where he played 4 years of varsity hockey with the UBC Thunderbirds. Dr. Nicola Dahms graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta. She worked with the Varsity Health Team and the Golden Bears Volleyball Team as a student therapist before moving to Toronto to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Dahms graduated from CMCC with the Class of 2018 and is a licensed Functional Integrated Acupuncture provider. A lifelong athlete and outdoors enthusiast, Dr. Dahms is an avid gym-goer and runner. She enjoys regular hikes with her dogs, kayaking, golfing, and skiing.

Dr. Dahms provides a combination of manual care and rehabilitation tailored to each of her patients’ specific needs.
